Our Story
A small workshop. On purpose.
Moonlight Leatherworks makes everyday leather goods meant to be carried, broken in, and kept. Simple designs, good materials, and careful work — without trying to turn any of it into something precious.
Useful first
A wallet still has to be a good wallet.
A belt has to take years of wear. A bag should be something you reach for without thinking about it. Moonlight starts there. The design can look good, but it has to work first.
Refined does not have to mean delicate. The goal is something that feels considered in your hand and still makes sense on an ordinary Tuesday.
The small things
The little things are the work.
Where a stitch lands. How an edge feels in your hand. Which part of the hide gets used. Whether the hardware will age with the leather instead of wearing out before it.
None of that needs a big speech. It just needs somebody to care about it while the piece is being made.

Not luxury. Not disposable.
Moonlight is not trying to be a luxury house. It also is not interested in making the leather-goods version of something disposable.
The idea is simpler: use really good materials, build things properly, charge honestly for the work, and make pieces people can actually use every day.
Better after you own it
The marks are part of the point.
Good leather changes. It softens, darkens, bends, and picks up the little marks that make yours different from the next one.
Moonlight pieces are not designed to stay untouched. They are designed to stick around long enough to earn some history.
That is why the material matters, why the edges matter, and why the construction has to hold up after the new-leather smell is long gone.
Still a workshop
Small-batch is the scale, not the sales pitch.
Pieces are made in small numbers. Custom work stays limited enough to actually be custom. Materials are chosen because they belong in the piece, not because they make for a longer options list.
One step at a time. No need to make it more complicated than that.
